The continued flow of Syrian refugees to the Turkish border.

Syria, 13 February 2016.The intensification of the fighting between the Assad regime forces and the Syrian rebels, together with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad advancing army and the intense Russian airstrikes pounding the city of Aleppo and nearby towns, has led to tens of thousands or Syrian refugees rushing to the Turkish border.

As International Photo media has witnessed on the ground, many Syrians refugees have abandoned their home in Aleppo and the nearby town and villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, leaving them empty. Hundred of thousands of refugees have fled to the Syrian side of the Syrian-Turkish borders while Turkey is keeping the border shut. Thousands of Syrian refugees have also joined other family members in other Syrian towns and villages.

The number of refugees waiting on the border have been rising by the day during the past ten days. Thousands of refugees share the scarce number of tents and food, with two-three families sharing the same tent. Other refugees have occupied buildings near the border, with many Syrian refugee families sharing the same house.

Many Syrian refugees try to cross the border with Turkey illegally under the cover of darkness, but with Turkey reinforcing the border between the two countries and making any attempt at crossing impossible, they end up living under the trees.
