A Palestinian child gets injured during heavy clashes between Palestinian demonstrating and the Israeli Army in the town of Kafr Qaddum, West Bank.

Palestine, Kafr Qaddum, 04 March 2016. Khalid a 12 years old Palestinian child was injured yesterday during clashes between Palestinians demonstrators and the Israeli army in the West Bank town of Kafr Qaddum.

Yesterday, during a Palestinian demonstration in Kafr Qaddum, heavy clashes took place between the Palestinian demonstrators and the Israeli army, during which  an Israeli soldier shot directly at Khalid hitting his thigh. A man trying to rescue Khalid was also injured. Khalid is currently in hospital and needs to have an operation at his leg.

Since 2003, the road between Kafr Qaddum and Nablus has been blocked by the Israeli authorities. Thus, since July 2011 weekly demonstrations have been held to demand the reopening of that road.
