Bogota, Colombia, 22 January,2016. Hundreds of citizens have gathered this Sunday in the Macarena neighbourhood of Bogota, to protest the return of bullfights to the Colombian capital following Colombia constitutional court’s overturn of the ban against bullfighting . The protest took place outside a ring just before the bullfight was due to start. Demonstrators clashed against the riot police, who reacted by firing teargas. A number of police officers and a district personnel officer were injured during the demonstration.
